What it does

AI engine optimisation (AIEO): the work of getting a site's pages retrieved, named and cited when an AI search engine or assistant answers a question. The same work is also called answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO). This module covers the parts a team can do and check on its own site: a plain index for agents (llms.txt), structured data that matches the visible page, a probe that measures what the engines answer, and predictions fixed by hash before a page goes live.

The foundation comes first: pages that crawlers can reach, that are indexed, and that say clearly what they hold. The skills here assume that foundation. None of them replaces it.

Install

Add the marketplace at release v0.1.0 once, then install the plugin and restart Claude Code.

Skills

• /aieo:answer-probe

  Ask AI search engines and assistants a fixed, versioned query set and record per answer whether it names the entity, links it and states the expected facts correctly, with dated JSON results and a trend over runs of the same query set version.

• /aieo:llms-txt

  Write and maintain llms.txt at the site root: a title, a short summary and sections of links with one line per page, built from the site's own pages and kept in step with the sitemap.

• /aieo:prediction-hash

  Write a dated prediction file before a page goes live, compute its sha256, add the line to predictions/HASHES.txt and commit both, so a third party can check that the prediction was not changed after the result came in.

• /aieo:structured-data

  Add JSON-LD structured data to every page of a site, one graph per page type (Organization or Person, WebSite, Article, BreadcrumbList, and FAQPage only where the page shows real questions), generated from one source, parsed as JSON and checked against the visible page.
